3D printing a radio-controlled plane

As fun as it is flying radio-controlled planes inevitably you do crash, break a part and have your fun cut short by disappointment. Then you’re stuck waiting for replacement parts, or worse, might have to build a new plane from scratch! With the growing popularity of 3D printing, it would be nice if you could simply print yourself a new one. So that is exactly what I did. The success of 3D printing this conventional aircraft design motivated me to use 3D printing to prototype my VTOL aircraft design.
